This Petmate kennel cab is nice for trips to the vet. We have one for our miniature schnauzer and use it for trips to Grandma's on weekends and for trips to the vet. She sleeps in the kennel cab overnight. The kennel has ventilation on 4 sides and a sturdy wire door. There is a slot for a seat belt, if you use it for the car, and it would be a good choice for emergency evacuations--such as in hurricane zones, tornado areas or flood zones. One nice feature is the little "moat" around the perimeter inside. If your pet has an accident, she won't be sitting in pee--and it won't get all over your car seat.
