We all know exactly how you must be feeling right now. Our precious pets are just like children to us, and when we lose one, we all mourn about them.
Remember all the fun times you shared together and maybe in time you'll be ready for another cherished pet.
Our first longtime pet was a miniature poodle named Buffee who passed at Age 16, so we felt we could never replace her. In fact, went back to budgies for about 13 years.
In 2004, after losing the budgies & 2 immediate family members in 5 years, my Dad and I were ready for some excitement!!lol That's when I got our current bichon named Buffy and have never looked back since.
Dad couldn't stop calling the new PUP the same name as our other poodle, so I agreed we'd call her the same name but spell it differently!!
I lost Dad in 2008, but still have my adorable Buffy and will be devastated when it's her time, but she's only 7, so hope I have her as long as my first Buffee.
