Bichon Frise Rescue Groups

Bichon Frise Rescue groups are located throughout the United States. These organizations attempt to find good new homes for their Bichon Frises.

Rescues take in abandoned, abused and unwanted Bichons. While in rescue, these dogs are cleaned up, groomed, attended to medically and placed in loving environments until a new, qualified owner is found.

The screening process for potential buyers is pretty stringent. Lengthy applications are thoroughly investigated.

Bichon rescue groups make sure that the prospective buyer has a vet in place, is financially stable and they may even conduct home visits.

Bichon Frise dogs are not like other dogs. They are loving, affectionate, and can be very attention-seeking.

Before you adopt or purchase a Bichon, make sure you know the breed characteristics, how to choose a healthy dog, and the secrets of Bichon training for a happy, well behaved Bichon Frise dog.

Humane Societies and other animal shelters often work hand in hand with Bichon Frise Rescue groups. Rescue groups are adamantly opposed to euthanasia and would like to see all Bichons, regardless of condition, placed in qualified, loving homes.
